Conference mesh chair

The Safco Products 6828BL Medina Conference Chair is a black office chair with a breathable mesh back and an upholstered seat cushion. It uses a pneumatic cylinder to adjust the seat height between 18 and 22 inches. Integrated arms and a built-in flex mechanism support posture changes during meetings. A five-star base with casters provides mobility on hard floors or low-pile carpet.

Height range and weight limit

The seat height tops out at 22 inches, so users who need a higher perch for tall desks may find the range limiting. The chair is rated for 275 pounds, which excludes heavier individuals from safe use. The fixed armrests cannot be lowered or removed, restricting access for wider bodies or close table work. The mesh back measures 16 inches high by 18 inches wide, offering less lumbar coverage than full-back designs.

Build and daily implications

The mesh back promotes airflow during long sessions while the cushioned seat reduces pressure points. The flex mechanism moves with the sitter without manual tension knobs, simplifying adjustments. Casters on the five-star base roll smoothly for quick repositioning in conference rooms. The chair meets ISTA6A shipping standards, so it arrives assembled and undamaged, ready for immediate use.
