Six-pack self-closing outlet covers

This six-pack supplies six white, single-gang switch plates designed for standard centre-screw outlets. Each plate features spring-loaded shutters that slide closed automatically when a plug is removed, providing continuous child-proofing without loose caps. The polished white finish covers existing wall imperfections for a clean look.

Replaces standard wall plates on centre-screw

Installation requires only a screwdriver and takes minutes per outlet, swapping directly for the existing decorative plate. The upgrade is worth it when you want permanent, cap-free protection that cannot be lost or become a choking hazard. These covers do not fit decora-style outlets with top and bottom screws.

Covers six single-gang outlets

The oversized dimensions hide dents and chipped paint around the receptacle while the stronger springs maintain reliable closure over years of use. Each plate measures 4.44 by 3 by .31 inches, adding minimal projection from the wall. The pack does not supply hardware for decora outlets or multi-gang configurations.

Questions about this item

Does the 4.44 in height match a standard single-gang box?

The plate measures 4.44 in high by 3 in wide, which aligns with a standard single-gang opening and uses the existing centre screw.

What is the installation step people often miss?

You must remove the old plate entirely and fasten this one with the single centre screw; skipping the removal leaves the spring covers misaligned.

Will the spring-loaded covers need replacement over time?

The manufacturer states stronger springs are used for long-term protection and that you never have to remove the plates.
