Ready for Verizon prepaid

The Samsung Galaxy A12 A125U is a 32 GB Android smartphone locked to the Verizon prepaid network. It ships new with a 6.5-inch capacitive touchscreen and a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. The device runs Android 10 out of the box and can be upgraded to Android 11 with One UI 3.1.

Budget buyers needing a basic Verizon handset

This model suits shoppers who want a no-contract phone for calls, messaging and light apps on the Verizon network. Buyers who need more internal storage or a higher-resolution display should look at other options. The single-SIM configuration also limits travellers who rely on dual-SIM flexibility.

Steady performance for everyday tasks

The Helio P35 and 6 GB of RAM keep routine multitasking smooth during extended use. The 5000 mAh battery supports long sessions without rapid drain. Thermal throttling is minimal because the chip targets modest workloads rather than heavy gaming.

Questions about this item

Will my existing Verizon nano-SIM activate this A125U?

Yes — the A125U is built for Verizon prepaid service, so a compatible nano-SIM from that network will activate the phone.

Can I keep using my current micro-USB chargers with this phone?

No — the Galaxy A12 uses a USB-C port, so older micro-USB cables will not fit; the box includes a UL-approved USB-C power adapter and cable.

How can I confirm the 6.5-inch HD+ display and quad-camera are working after setup?

Open the camera app and switch through all four rear lenses, then play a 720 x 1560 video to verify the full 6.5-inch screen renders correctly.
