Premium Wireless Earbuds

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 Pro SM-R640 are premium true-wireless earbuds built for immersive listening. Six microphones with AI noise reduction ensure clear calls.

Ideal for Galaxy Users, Less for Others

These earbuds suit Android owners who want seamless Galaxy integration, Hi-Res sound and adaptive noise cancelling. The canal-fit design with silicone tips and IP57 resistance supports active daily use. Buyers needing a domestic warranty or broad multi-platform features should consider other options. The international version lacks local warranty coverage.

24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Res Audio

The single specification that decides fit is 24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Res Audio with Samsung Seamless Codec. This high-resolution pipeline demands compatible source material and a supporting Samsung device to work as intended. Without that ecosystem the core audio advantage cannot be realised. Check your playback chain before purchase.

Questions about this item

How loud is the fan noise when the SM-R640 earbuds run all day?

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro have no fan; they are true wireless earbuds, so they produce no fan noise and generate negligible heat during extended use.

What device must I already own to use the AI translation and Adaptive ANC on these SM-R640 earbuds?

You need a compatible Samsung Galaxy smartphone or tablet running the Galaxy Wearable app to unlock AI translation, Adaptive ANC and other smart features.

Will the 24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Res Audio codec work with my older Galaxy phone that only supports standard AAC?

The earbuds use Samsung Seamless Codec for 24-bit/96 kHz Hi-Res Audio; on older phones limited to AAC they will fall back to that codec automatically.
