Galaxy Note 20 5G N981U 128GB AT&T

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G N981U is a 6.7 inch Android smartphone built for AT&T prepaid service. It ships new with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor runs Android 12 with Samsung One UI. A Super AMOLED display at 2400 x 1080 resolution supports HDR and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Included UL power adapter and cable only

The box contains a UL approved power adapter and charging cable. No headphones, SIM card or manual are supplied. The device does not arrive in original packaging. The 30 point functionality inspection confirms full operation, but the accessory set is limited to charging essentials.

Suits AT&T prepaid users wanting S Pen and 5G

This model fits buyers locked to AT&T who need the integrated S Pen and 5G connectivity on a prepaid plan. The 60Hz refresh rate and fixed 128GB storage may deter users who want higher refresh displays or expandable memory. The single carrier restriction rules out anyone needing multi network flexibility.

Questions about this item

Will the 4300 mAh battery need replacement after a couple of years?

The 4300 mAh cell is sealed inside the chassis; replacing it requires disassembly and is best handled by a repair shop when capacity drops noticeably.

What thermal limit appears first when the Snapdragon 865+ runs at full tilt for long periods?

The processor will throttle its clock speeds once the internal temperature reaches its safety ceiling, which is the first limit you hit under sustained load.

How loud or hot does the phone get during all-day use with the 6.7 inch Super AMOLED screen on?

The display runs at 60 Hz and the Snapdragon 865+ stays cool enough that fanless operation remains silent; surface warmth is noticeable but not uncomfortable.
