What this phone is and who it suits

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G N981U is a T-Mobile prepaid Android smartphone with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. It includes the S Pen for on-screen writing and sketching. The unit is sold new and ships with a UL approved power adapter and charging cable. It is intended for buyers who want a large-screen handset without a contract commitment.

How it fits into your daily setup

The device uses a single SIM slot locked to the T-Mobile network, so it cannot be activated on other carriers. 128GB of internal storage holds apps, photos and documents without a microSD slot for expansion. Android provides access to the Google Play store for productivity and entertainment apps. The included charger keeps the 4300mAh battery topped up through the USB-C port.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The Snapdragon 865 chipset runs typical tasks such as browsing, video playback and note-taking without audible fan noise because the phone is passively cooled. The 6.7-inch sAMOLED display operates at a 60Hz refresh rate, which helps contain power draw during extended sessions. The 4300mAh battery is rated for all-day use under mixed workloads. Warmth may be felt during prolonged 5G data transfers or gaming.
