What this phone is

The Samsung Galaxy S21 5G is a contract-free Android smartphone with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. It ships new in Phantom White and is locked to the AT&T network. The handset targets buyers who want a flagship-class device without a carrier plan commitment.

Installing and activating

Insert an active AT&T nano-SIM and power on; the device walks through the standard Android setup in minutes. No bootloader unlock or firmware flashing is required for normal use. The main friction point is the carrier lock — the phone will reject SIMs from other networks unless an official unlock is obtained from AT&T.

The spec that decides fit

The single band lock to AT&T is the deciding factor. If your service runs on a different carrier, this unit will not connect to their network. Buyers who need multi-carrier flexibility or international roaming on local SIMs should look for an unlocked variant instead.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 120Hz adaptive display is active after setup?

Open Settings, tap Display, choose Motion smoothness and select Adaptive. The 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED will then switch up to 120Hz automatically.

What accessories are included and what must I buy separately?

A UL approved power adapter and charging cable are in the box. Headphones, SIM card, manual and original packaging are not supplied.

Should I choose the 128GB or 256GB storage version for the Snapdragon 888 model?

The 128GB version matches the 8GB RAM and 4000mAh battery shown here. Pick 256GB only if you store large media libraries locally.
