Compact foldable smartphone

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G F721U is a bar-style phone that folds to fit small pockets and opens to a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel running at 120 Hz. It ships with Android 12 and Samsung One UI, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. The Qualcomm SM8475 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor drives everyday tasks, multitasking and gaming on the 1080 x 2640 pixel display.

Buyers wanting a pocketable flip form factor

This model suits anyone who prefers a compact device that unfolds into a full-size screen for media and productivity. It is not for users who require a traditional candy-bar handset without a moving hinge, or those who need expandable storage beyond the fixed 256 GB capacity.

256 GB fixed internal storage

The single specification that determines fit is the non-expandable 256 GB storage capacity; buyers who anticipate larger local media libraries or offline workloads should consider alternatives with higher or expandable capacity.

Questions about this item

What Android version and One UI layer ship on the F721U?

The Galaxy Z Flip4 5G launches with Android 12 and Samsung One UI on top.

How much space is needed for the 6.7 inch foldable display when closed?

The hinge folds the 6.7 inch screen in half, so the closed height is roughly half the open height plus the hinge thickness.

Which step do owners often skip when moving data to the 256GB storage?

Many forget to enable USB debugging and authorise the computer before running Smart Switch, so the transfer never starts.
