Rated yield and coverage

The unit carries an estimated yield of 220000 pages measured at 5% coverage. This rating reflects standard test conditions for toner consumption. Actual page counts will vary with document density, print frequency and environmental factors. No thermal, noise or power-draw data is provided for this consumable.

Included developer and part references

The cartridge ships with the developer already installed, removing a separate installation step. Samsung part numbers SS678A, CLT-R806K and CLTR806K all refer to this same unit. The 100% satisfaction guarantee is a supplier pledge, not a technical specification. No firmware updates or software utilities are bundled.

Questions about this item

How do I install the SS678A drum unit in my MultiXpress X7600LX and what step do people often miss?

Open the front cover, remove the old drum unit, unpack the new SS678A, gently rock it side to side to distribute the included developer evenly, then slide it firmly into the rails until it clicks and close the cover.

What maintenance or replacement will the SS678A drum unit need after extended use?

The SS678A drum unit is rated for approximately 220000 pages at 5% coverage; once print quality fades or the printer signals end of life, replace the entire drum unit as it includes the developer.

What limit appears first on the SS678A drum unit during continuous high-volume printing?

The 220000-page yield at 5% coverage is the primary limit; sustained heavy coverage jobs will reach this threshold sooner and require drum unit replacement.
