40-inch 5K2K curved gaming monitor

The SAMSUNG ViewFinity LS40H850TANXZA is a 40-inch curved gaming monitor with a 5120 x 2160 VA panel. Its 21:9 aspect ratio and 1000R curvature wrap the field of view for immersive play and wide desktop space. The 144Hz refresh rate and 4ms response time support fast motion, while HDR10+ and sRGB 99% colour cover bright, vivid output. Height, swivel and tilt adjustments let the user set a comfortable viewing position.

Wide aspect and high refresh for sim

The ultra-wide 21:9 format suits flight sims, racing titles and multitasking workflows that benefit from extra horizontal pixels. FreeSync Premium adaptive sync reduces tearing for AMD GPU owners. Users who need a standard 16:9 layout, higher pixel density for text work, or G-Sync certification should consider other models. The VA panel’s 3000:1 contrast helps dark scenes, but IPS alternatives may offer faster pixel transitions.

Thunderbolt 5 single-cable docking

A single Thunderbolt 5 port carries video, data and power delivery to a compatible laptop, cutting cable clutter and enabling a clean desk setup. The monitor also provides one DisplayPort 1.4 and one HDMI 2.1 connection for desktop GPUs or consoles. If the host device lacks Thunderbolt 5, the docking benefit is lost and the extra bandwidth goes unused.
