SanDisk 128GB Ultra UHS-I microSDHC Card with SD Adapter

What you get

This is a 128GB SanDisk Ultra microSDHC card rated UHS-I with a full-size SD adapter included. It targets Android smartphone and tablet owners who need extra space for apps, photos and Full HD video. Chromebook users are also covered by the certified compatibility claim. Buyers who need more storage than 128GB or who require UHS-II speeds for professional workflows should look elsewhere.

Installing and pitfalls

Insert the microSD card into the adapter, then place the adapter into any SD slot or USB reader; no drivers are required on supported Android, Chrome OS or camera devices. The card is rated waterproof, temperature proof, shockproof and X-ray proof for everyday durability. Performance will drop below the advertised peak if the host device only supports slower bus speeds or if the file system becomes fragmented. Formatting the card in the host device before first use avoids most recognition issues.

Deciding specification

The A1 rating guarantees a minimum of 1500 read IOPS and 500 write IOPS for faster app loading on Android. Sequential read speed reaches up to 100MB/s based on internal testing, while the Class 10 marking ensures sustained write performance for 1920x1080 Full HD video recording. Verify that your device supports microSDHC cards before purchase.
