Twin Pack for Point-and-Shoot Cameras

Two 16 GB SanDisk Ultra SDHC cards give casual photographers and compact-camera owners Class 10 storage ready for Full HD video. Each card reads at up to 80 MB/s so files move to the computer quickly. The cards are waterproof, temperature-proof, X-ray proof, magnet-proof and shockproof for everyday handling.

Suits Casual Shooters, Not Heavy Burst Users

Photographers who want reliable Full HD recording and simple file transfers will find these cards fit compact to mid-range point-and-shoot cameras. Videographers needing sustained write speeds for 4K or high-bitrate codecs should look elsewhere because the Class 10 rating only guarantees 10 MB/s minimum write performance.

Class 10 Speed Rating Decides Fit

The single specification that decides suitability is the Class 10 speed rating, which guarantees a minimum write speed of 10 MB/s. That meets the needs of 1080p video and everyday stills but does not support demanding 4K workflows or rapid continuous shooting.

Questions about this item

Will the 80MB/s read speed work with my older camera that only supports standard SDHC?

The card follows the SDHC standard and Class 10 rating so it will function in older SDHC devices, though the 80MB/s read speed requires a UHS-I compatible host to reach that rate.

How can I confirm the card delivers the rated 10MB/s minimum write speed for Full HD 1080p video after I set it up?

Record a continuous 1080p clip until the card fills; smooth playback without dropped frames shows the Class 10 sustained write performance is working as specified.

Does the 2 pack include the plastic cases shown in the title or do I need to buy cases separately?

The 2 pack ships with the plastic cases included, so no separate case purchase is required.
