SanDisk 32GB SDHC Card

This SanDisk 32GB SDHC card provides 32GB of storage for cameras, GPS units, PDAs, tablets, and other devices that follow the SD 2.00 specifications. It is a stamp-sized flash memory card designed for standard-definition video and photo capture. Buyers who need faster sustained write speeds for high-bitrate 4K video should consider a higher speed class.

Installation and common issues

Insert the card into the device slot until it clicks; most hosts recognise it immediately without drivers. The write-protect switch on the side can accidentally slide to the locked position, preventing any new files from being saved. Formatting the card in the target device before first use avoids file-system mismatches that can cause read errors.

Class 4 speed rating

The Class 4 rating guarantees a minimum sustained write speed of 4 MB/s, which is the single specification that determines whether this card can handle your recording workload. It meets the SD 2.00 requirements for standard video and audio capture. Cards with a higher class number are required for smoother Full HD or 4K recording.
