Everyday capture with ten cards

This 10-pack of SanDisk 8GB microSDHC Class 4 cards suits point-and-shoot cameras, game consoles, smartphones, tablets and video cameras that accept the microSDHC format. The bundle includes a reader and individual plastic cases so each card stays protected and easy to organise. It is not intended for devices that demand sustained write speeds above 5MB/s or capacities beyond 8GB.

Class 4 speed and rugged build

Rated Class 4, the cards deliver up to 20MB/s read and 5MB/s write for typical photo and standard-definition video tasks. They operate reliably from -25°C to 85°C and are water, shock, vibration, X-ray, magnet and impact proof. No active cooling or power management is required because the cards draw minimal power from the host device.

Reader and cases simplify workflow

The supplied USB reader lets you offload files to a computer without a dedicated card slot, while the ten plastic cases keep spare cards labelled and safe during transport. The 30-day money-back guarantee and lifetime warranty provide long-term support, though they do not accelerate write performance or increase the 8GB capacity per card.

Questions about this item

How do I insert the microSDHC card into my device and what step do people often miss?

Insert the card label-side up until it clicks; the step many miss is formatting the 8GB card in the device before first use.

What maintenance or replacement will these cards need over time?

No routine maintenance is required; the cards are water proof, shock proof, X-ray proof, magnet proof and impact proof, so replacement only occurs if physical damage or capacity limits are reached.

What is the first performance limit I will hit during sustained writing?

The Class 4 rating guarantees a minimum sustained write speed of 4MB/s, so that ceiling appears before the 20MB/s read maximum under continuous use.
