They suit students, office workers or anyone needing duplicate media for backups or sharing.

Check for a USB 3.0 port and software rights

Verify your computer has a USB 3.0 Type-A port to reach the quoted 130 MB/s read speed; the drives will fall back to USB 2.0 speeds on older ports. Ensure you have administrator rights to install the included SanDisk SecureAccess software for password-protected folders. Operating temperature is rated from 0 °C to 45 °C.

Metal casing with key-ring hole fits any bag

Each drive measures 0.66 x 4.242 x 1.321 cm, so it slides into a pocket, pencil case or laptop sleeve without bulk. The integrated lanyard hole lets you attach a key ring or strap to prevent loss. No external power or cables are required, leaving your other ports free for peripherals.

Questions about this item

Does the pack of two 16GB drives include the SanDisk SecureAccess software for password protection?

Yes, the drives come with SanDisk SecureAccess software that creates a password-protected folder for private files while letting you share other files openly.

Should I choose this twin 16GB pack or a single 32GB drive for the same total capacity?

The twin pack gives you two separate metal-cased drives with key-ring holes, so you can keep work and personal files physically apart or give one to a colleague.

Will I see the full 130MB/s read speed when copying large video files to my laptop?

The 130MB/s figure is the maximum sequential read speed; real-world transfer rates depend on your laptop's USB 3.0 port, file sizes and system overhead.
