Secure USB 2.0 drive for everyday file transport

The SanDisk Cruzer Glide provides 32 GB of storage in a USB 2.0 Type A stick. It suits students, office workers and anyone moving documents, photos or music between computers without needing high transfer speeds. The 128 bit AES encryption and included SanDisk SecureAccess software let you password-protect private files while leaving the rest of the drive open for sharing.

Retractable capless design with compact dimensions

A sliding mechanism hides the connector when not in use, removing the risk of a lost cap. The black and red casing measures 0.33" x 0.86" x 2.34", so it slips into a front pocket or a crowded USB hub without blocking adjacent ports. The lightweight build makes it unobtrusive on a key ring or lanyard during daily carry.

SanDisk SecureAccess software

The bundled SecureAccess application creates an encrypted vault protected by a user-defined password, keeping sensitive data separate from shared files. An additional 2 GB of secure cloud storage from YuuWaa is offered for remote backup and browser-based access from any internet-connected device. Buyers who need larger capacities or USB 3.0 performance should consider other models.

Questions about this item

What speeds does the USB 2.0 interface deliver in practice?

The USB 2.0 connection provides standard high-speed transfer rates for everyday file copying and backups.

Will the 0.33 by 0.86 by 2.34 inch dimensions fit my laptop port and pocket?

The slim, retractable design slides into tight USB ports and pockets without snagging on adjacent connectors.

How do I set up the 128-bit AES encryption with SanDisk SecureAccess software?

Run the included SecureAccess installer, create a password, then drag files into the encrypted vault — skipping the password step leaves data unprotected.
