What it is

The SanDisk Cruzer Glide is a 64GB USB 2.0 flash drive designed for storing, backing up and transporting files. Its compact metal casing includes a small hole for attaching a key ring or lanyard. The drive weighs 9 g and measures 1.1 x 2.1 x 6 cm.

Who it suits

It suits users who need a simple, portable way to move documents, photos or Full HD video between devices with USB 2.0 ports. Buyers who require faster transfer speeds or hardware encryption should look at other options.

Capacity and headroom

The 64GB capacity holds roughly 11 GB per 1,000,000,000 bytes of user storage after formatting. It comfortably handles typical Full HD video at 1920x1080x30fps or HD at 1280x720x30fps, but space runs out quickly with large media libraries or uncompressed footage.

Questions about this item

Does this drive need a USB 2.0 port on the computer to work?

It connects to any USB 2.0 Type-A port and will also function in USB 3.x ports at USB 2.0 speeds.

Will the SDCZ60 064G B35 still read files saved on an older USB 1.1 flash drive?

Yes, the host computer reads both drives independently; the Cruzer Glide does not interfere with legacy USB 1.1 devices.

How can I confirm the 64 GB capacity is recognised after plugging it in?

Open the operating system file explorer — the drive should appear with roughly 64 GB total space (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes).
