Two 32 GB CompactFlash cards with a 50-pin Parallel ATA interface rated up to 125 MB/s for professional cameras and legacy industrial systems
This kit supplies two 32GB CompactFlash cards built for cameras that write long bursts of raw files or high-bitrate video. Each card uses the Parallel ATA interface with a 50-pin connector, matching legacy professional bodies and industrial recorders that still require CF media.
The Parallel ATA bus tops out at 125MB/s, so extended captures are limited by that ceiling rather than by the flash itself. Commercial-grade flash helps maintain steady throughput during long takes, but the interface prevents the sustained rates that modern UDMA 7 or CFast cards can deliver.
The 50-pin PATA connection dates from 1994 and caps theoretical throughput at 125MB/s, well below current CFast or XQD speeds. Cards larger than 512GB are not defined for this interface, so capacity growth stops at that boundary. Adapters can bridge CF to IDE or PCMCIA slots, but they inherit the same bandwidth ceiling.

| Product type | Compact Flash (CF) |
The cards use the Parallel ATA bus with a 50-pin connector; flash memory has no moving parts so heat and power draw stay minimal even during continuous write cycles.
You need a camera, card reader or adapter with a native CompactFlash Type I slot that accepts the 50-pin PATA interface.
The 50-pin PATA interface is backward compatible, but very early hosts may have firmware limits below 32 GB; check the host’s maximum supported capacity before use.
