Product identity

This SanDisk SDHC card provides 32 GB of storage for standard point-and-shoot cameras and other devices that accept the SDHC format. It carries a Class 4 speed rating suitable for 720p video recording and everyday photo capture.

Compatibility check

Verify that your camera, laptop, tablet or other host explicitly supports SDHC cards before ordering. The card will not function in legacy readers limited to standard SD capacities, and it does not meet the write-speed requirements for higher-resolution video modes.

Bundled value

The package contains the memory card only; no reader, adapter or software is included. Buyers who want more storage should consider higher-capacity SDHC or SDXC options, while those needing faster sustained write speeds for full HD or 4K footage will need a card with a higher speed class.

Questions about this item

Does the SanDisk SDB-032G package contain only the 32 GB SDHC Class 4 card, or are any adapters or readers included?

The package contains the blue 32 GB SDHC Class 4 memory card; no adapter or reader is included.

Should I choose the 32 GB version or the 16 GB version for recording 720p video on a point-and-shoot camera?

The 32 GB card stores roughly twice as many 720p clips as the 16 GB card, so it is the better choice for longer sessions.

What does the Class 4 rating mean for real-world write speed when the card is in a camera?

Class 4 guarantees a minimum sustained write speed of 4 MB/s, which is sufficient for 720p video recording on standard point-and-shoot cameras.
