Everyday 32 GB SDHC card

The SanDisk SDSDB-032G is a 32 GB Secure Digital High-Capacity card rated Class 4. It is designed for daily use in cameras, camcorders and other devices that accept SDHC media. The capacity gives space for thousands of photos or hours of standard-definition video. Buyers who need faster sustained write speeds for burst shooting or 4K capture should look elsewhere.

Simple drop-in installation

The card slides into any standard SDHC slot without drivers or configuration. Most issues arise when the host device only supports the older SD standard, which caps at 2 GB and will not recognise this card. A write-protect switch on the side can accidentally lock the card, preventing new files from being saved.

Class 4 speed ceiling

Class 4 guarantees a minimum sequential write speed of 4 MB/s, which is adequate for JPEG photos and standard-definition footage. It is not rated for high-bitrate Full HD or any 4K recording modes. Continuous video capture may stop if the camera's data rate exceeds the card's sustained throughput.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the card is operating at Class 4 speed after formatting it?

Format the card in your device, then record a short video or burst of photos; smooth playback and quick write completion indicate the Class 4 rating is being met.

What comes in the package and is anything else needed to use the 32GB SDHC card?

The box contains only the 32GB SDHC memory card; no adapter or reader is included, so ensure your camera or laptop has an SDHC slot or buy a compatible reader separately.

Why choose the 32GB Class 4 version instead of a different capacity or speed class?

Pick this 32GB Class 4 card when you need affordable everyday storage for photos and standard-definition video in any SDHC-compatible device.
