Product Identity

SanDisk Twin25G is a dual-port 25GbE PCIe network interface card. It adds two 25 Gigabit Ethernet connections to a workstation or server through a single expansion slot. The package includes two mounting brackets and documentation.

Fit and Limits

This card suits administrators upgrading server or workstation links to 25GbE where the host has a free PCIe slot. Buyers who need a single-port adapter, a different port count, or a lower-speed Ethernet card should look elsewhere.

Deciding Specification

The defining figure is 25 Gigabits per second per port. If your switch, cabling and workload require that exact line rate, this card matches it; if the infrastructure runs at another speed, the card will not fit the network.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Sonnet Twin25G into a PCIe slot and which bracket do I choose?

Insert the card into an available PCIe slot, then attach the low-profile or full-height bracket that matches your chassis before securing the retention screw.

What maintenance will the Twin25G require over its service life?

No scheduled maintenance is needed; keep the ventilation path clear of dust so the passive heatsink can dissipate heat effectively.

What is the first limit reached when both ports run at 25 GbE continuously?

The PCIe bus and the card's thermal envelope set the practical ceiling before any port-level bottleneck appears.
