Dual USB 3.0 and Micro-USB flash drive

The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 combines a USB 3.0 Type-A connector with a micro-USB connector in a single 128GB stick. It lets you move files between an Android phone or tablet and a laptop, PC or Mac without cables or cloud services. The USB 3.0 interface reads at up to 150MB/s and works with USB 2.0 ports.

Android users who need local transfers

This drive suits anyone with an OTG-enabled Android device who wants to offload photos, videos or documents directly to a computer. It is not for phones that only have USB-C ports unless you add an adapter. It is also not for users who require hardware encryption or ruggedised housing.

128GB capacity and 150MB/s read speed

The usable storage is 128GB and the peak read rate is 150MB/s over USB 3.0. These two figures determine whether the drive holds your media library and moves it fast enough for your workflow.

Questions about this item

How quickly can the 150MB/s read speed move files between my phone and PC?

The 150MB/s read speed lets you transfer large photos or videos from the 128GB drive to a USB 3.0 port in seconds, while the USB 2.0 fallback still works on older ports.

What does the USB 3.0 connector cap at when I plug it into a USB 2.0 port?

The USB 3.0 connector is backward-compatible with USB 2.0 ports, so transfer speeds will drop to USB 2.0 limits while the drive remains fully functional.

Will the micro-USB end fit my Android phone if it has a protective case?

The micro-USB connector is designed for OTG-enabled Android devices; a thick case may block the plug, so check the port clearance before buying.
