What this drive is and who it suits

The SanDisk Ultra Flair USB 3.0 flash drive delivers read speeds up to 150 MB/s for people who move large files between computers. It targets students, office workers and creatives who want quicker transfers than standard USB 2.0 devices without buying a portable SSD. Buyers who need hardware encryption or sustained write performance for professional video workloads should look elsewhere.

Build quality and daily use

A sleek metal casing protects the drive from everyday knocks and gives it a premium feel in a bag or pocket. The USB 3.0 connector plugs directly into any compatible port without cables, so you can copy a full-length movie in under 30 seconds when the host supports the faster interface. Password protection lets you lock private files on the drive itself.

Check before ordering

Verify that your computer has a USB 3.0 port to reach the advertised 150 MB/s speed; it will still work on USB 2.0 ports but at the slower legacy rate. Ensure your operating system supports the included SanDisk SecureAccess software for password protection and the one-year RescuePRO Deluxe subscription for file recovery. No driver installation is required on modern Windows or macOS systems.
