AM/FM Clock Radio with Gradual Wake

The Sangean RCR-5BK is a mains-powered digital tuning clock radio for bedside use. It receives AM and FM broadcasts and stores up to 10 preset stations. An adjustable LCD backlight lets you set display brightness for dark rooms. A 3.5 mm AUX input allows playback from a phone or portable player through the built-in speaker.

Suits gentle risers; not for wireless streaming

Buyers who want a gradual wake-up will appreciate the Humane Wake System that slowly raises volume from buzzer or radio. Dual alarms with weekday, weekend, daily or once settings and a snooze function cover varied schedules. Nap and sleep timers add flexibility for daytime rest. Users needing Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or app control should look elsewhere.

10 presets and 3.5 mm AUX decide fit

Ten station presets (5 AM, 5 FM) determine whether your favourite channels fit without retuning. The 3.5 mm AUX jack is the only wired input for external audio sources. If you require more presets or digital audio inputs, this model will not meet the need.
