XXL Silicone Craft Mat Dimensions

This extra-large silicone craft mat measures 27.9 by 20 inches, giving a spacious work area for resin art, painting, epoxy jewellery making, paper cutting and clay modelling. The single black sheet is designed for hobbyists and makers who need a generous, non-slip surface that stays flat during messy projects.

Thickness and Temperature Headroom

At 1 millimetre thick the mat is more than three times the thickness of typical 0.3 millimetre craft sheets, so it resists tearing and deformation even under heavy use. It withstands continuous temperatures from minus 30 degrees Fahrenheit up to 210 degrees Fahrenheit, allowing it to serve as a pot holder or countertop protector for hot dishes as well as a craft surface.

Silicone Material Limits

The food-grade silicone is odourless, non-stick on top and non-slip underneath, making it easy to clean resin, glue, glitter or dough residue with water. It is not a raised-edge tray, so liquids can run off the sides if poured beyond the flat area. Buyers who need containment lips, a smaller footprint or multiple mats in one pack should look at other configurations.

Questions about this item

Will the 27.9 by 20 inch mat sit flat on my existing workbench without sliding?

The nonslip bottom grips the bench so the mat stays in place while you pour resin or knead clay.

How can I check the nonstick surface is releasing cured resin cleanly?

Peel a test piece after it cures; the resin should lift off without residue on the silicone.

Does the package include any tools such as a scraper or extra mats?

Only the single 27.9 by 20 inch black silicone mat is included; scrapers or additional mats are sold separately.
