Sapphire Pure Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB GDDR6

The Sapphire Pure Radeon RX 7800 XT is a graphics card built on a 5 nm GPU with AMD RDNA 3 architecture. It delivers 16 GB of GDDR6 memory across a 256-bit bus running at 19.5 Gbps effective speed. The card targets gamers and creators who want high frame rates at 1440p or entry-level 4K.

Suits 1440p high-refresh gaming and 4K media work

This model fits builders who need 3840 stream processors, 60 compute units with RT and AI accelerators, and 64 MB of Infinity Cache. It supports up to four displays via two HDMI and two DisplayPort 2.1 connectors at 7680×4320 resolution. Users chasing maximum ray-tracing performance or smaller form-factor builds should consider other options.

Straightforward PCIe 4.0 x16 installation

The 2.5-slot design measures 320 mm long, 128.75 mm wide and 52.57 mm high, so verify case clearance and power-supply cables before fitting. A high-TG copper PCB and digital power design help stability, but the length can block drive bays in compact chassis. Ensure adequate airflow to sustain the 2475 MHz boost clock under load.

Questions about this item

What power-supply connectors does the Sapphire PURE Radeon RX 7800 XT need?

The card draws power through standard 8-pin PCIe connectors; ensure your PSU has at least two available 8-pin leads and enough wattage for the rest of the system.

Will the 2.5-slot, 320 mm long card fit in a mid-tower case that currently holds a shorter dual-slot GPU?

Measure from the rear bracket to the nearest obstruction — you need at least 320 mm length and 2.5-slot width clearance; the 128.75 mm height also requires room above the motherboard.

How can I confirm the card is running at its 2475 MHz acceleration clock under load?

Run a GPU monitoring tool while gaming; the core frequency should approach 2475 MHz when thermal and power headroom allow, while the memory sits at 19.5 Gbps effective.
