Recessed LED replacement for CFL fixtures

This 9W LED PL lamp fits G24d two-pin sockets and delivers 950 lumens of 3000K light across a 120-degree beam. It replaces 18, 26, 32 and 42 watt compact fluorescent lamps while bypassing the existing ballast for direct-wire operation. Vertical mounting is supported and the lamp reaches full brightness instantly without flicker.

Sustained output with ballast bypass

Because the driver runs directly from mains voltage after ballast removal, thermal performance depends on the recessed housing airflow rather than a ballast enclosure. The 70 percent energy saving is maintained continuously as long as the fixture dissipates the LED heat load. Buyers who need dimming, a different colour temperature or a four-pin G24q base will need a different lamp.
