Galvanized steel grounding strap bonds copper wire to pipes or masts from 1/2 to 3 inches diameter, pack of 10
The SatelliteSale SS-GSG12-10 supplies ten galvanized steel straps that create a secure electrical bond between copper ground wires and metal pipes or masts. Each strap adjusts to fit diameters from 1/2" to 3" and accepts 10-14 AWG wire through built-in punched holes. The UL Listed components are designed for grounding water pipes, CATV lines, satellite drops and service masts.
Galvanized construction protects the strap against corrosion in outdoor and damp environments. A patented curve nut works with the set-screw stud to clamp firmly on the pipe without damaging it. The assembly accepts a standard terminal wrench so the ground wire can be changed without loosening the clamp from the pipe.
The pack of 10 lets you address several grounding locations in a single job, such as meter-panel masts, conduit runs and ground rods. It replaces loose wire wraps or improvised clamps that can loosen over time. The jump is worth it when a code-compliant, permanent connection is required across multiple service entries.

Wrap the strap around a 1/2 to 3 inch pipe, tighten the curve nut with a standard terminal wrench, then secure a 10 to 14 AWG wire under the set-screw stud — skipping the wire connection leaves the ground incomplete.
The set-screw stud and curve nut are the only moving hardware; if threads strip or corrosion reaches the base steel, replace the whole strap.
The 12 inch length and 10 to 14 AWG wire capacity set the practical ampacity ceiling; sustained loads beyond that wire gauge will overheat the connection.
