Print-head maintenance kit

These cleaning pads are designed for direct-thermal printers and help remove residue from the print head. The box contains one hundred individual pads for repeated servicing. They suit technicians and operators who need a ready supply of consumables for routine upkeep.

Not for solvent-based cleaning

The pads are intended for dry or light-damp use on thermal elements and do not replace chemical cleaning fluids. Buyers who require solvent-based maintenance or components for other printer technologies should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the Sato 14S000145 cleaning pads in my direct thermal printer, and what step is often missed?

Open the printhead assembly, remove any used pad, then insert a fresh pad from the 100-count box so the abrasive side contacts the printhead; the step often missed is ensuring the pad sits flat against the full width of the printhead before closing the latch.

What maintenance or replacement will the Sato 14S000145 cleaning pads need over time?

Each pad is single-use; after cleaning the printhead once, discard it and replace with a new pad from the 100-count box to maintain consistent print quality.
