Questions about this item

How often will the Sato SG112-ex printhead need to be replaced under normal thermal printing loads?

Thermal printheads are consumable parts; replacement timing depends on total printed distance and media abrasiveness, so plan for periodic swaps once print quality fades or missing dots appear.

What component limit appears first during continuous high-volume printing with this 300 dpi head?

The printhead’s heating elements and protective glaze wear fastest under sustained duty, causing gradual dot dropout before any printer mechanism reaches its own service interval.
