Compact dual-tone signal horn

The Schmitt & Ongaro Marine Mini Dual Drop-In Horn delivers two distinct tones from a single cutout. It operates on a 12 volt electrical system and draws a maximum of 6 amps. The unit meets ABYC A-23 requirements for vessels up to 12 metres. Pre-wired leads simplify connection to existing switch gear.

304 stainless steel construction

Every component, including the sealed sound unit, is built from 304 stainless steel inside and out. The manufacturer guarantees no rust for five years. Grills measure 4-7/8 by 2-3/8 inches with four-hole centres that match common hole patterns. Drop-in design allows direct replacement without new drilling.

Rated output and installation

Installed output is rated at 114 decibels at one metre. Each horn body measures 7.5 by 8 by 4.5 centimetres. The sealed sound unit resists water ingress during normal operation. Current draw remains at 6 amps maximum across both tones. No separate compressor or air supply is required.
