Motor Starter Enclosure for GV2 Series

The Schneider Electric GV2MC02 is a transparent plastic enclosure rated NEMA 12 for indoor industrial use. It houses compatible GV2ME and TeSys GV2 motor starters with an IEC starter style. The enclosure meets Green Premium RoHS and REACH standards along with IEC 60947-2 and IEC 60947-4-1.

NEMA 12 rating and GV2 compatibility

The single specification that decides fit is the NEMA 12 rating combined with the GV2ME and TeSys GV2 compatibility. Only starters matching that series and requiring a NEMA 12 indoor enclosure will install correctly. The IEC starter style and listed standards confirm the intended application.

Surface mounting with fixed dimensions

Installation uses surface mounting with overall dimensions of 5.79 in height, 3.66 in width and 3.31 in depth. The transparent cover allows visual inspection without opening the enclosure. The plastic NEMA 12 material is not suited for outdoor or wash-down environments, which is the most common reason for incorrect selection.
