Thermal overload relay protects motors at 5.5–8 A with 1NO/1NC contacts, auto-manual reset and screw-clamp terminals
The Schneider Electric LR2K0314 is a thermal overload relay designed for three-phase motor protection in industrial control panels. It suits electricians and maintenance engineers who need adjustable overload settings between 5.5 A and 8 A with a Trip Class 10A response. Buyers requiring protection outside this current range or a different trip class cannot use this unit.
The integrated auxiliary block provides one normally open and one normally closed contact for signalling or interlocking circuits. These contacts are rated for 690 V AC and 250 V DC, allowing direct connection to PLC inputs, indicator lights or contactor coils without additional relays. The screw-clamp terminals accept solid or stranded conductors for secure wiring.
Direct mounting onto TeSys Deca and TeSys K contactors reduces panel space and eliminates separate DIN-rail hardware. The transparent housing lets technicians verify contact status visually during commissioning or fault finding. Auto and manual reset modes are selectable on the front, so the relay can match the recovery procedure required by each machine.

The thermal overload element is built for continuous duty and does not have a scheduled replacement interval; it trips at the set current and can be reset manually or automatically.
The Trip Class 10A characteristic limits sustained operation; if current stays at 8 A the relay will trip within the class-defined time to protect the motor.
Heat output is determined by the 5.5 A to 8 A setting range and the screw-clamp terminals; the unit is designed for direct contactor mounting without additional cooling.
