Protects motors with 30-40 A thermal overload range and 1NO/1NC auxiliary contacts
The Schneider Electric LRD3355 is a thermal overload relay designed for industrial motor protection. It mounts directly to TeSys Deca contactors and provides adjustable current monitoring between 30 A and 40 A. Engineers and maintenance teams select it for three-phase circuits requiring IEC-style protection.
The relay trips at Class 10A speed when motor current exceeds the dial setting between 30 A and 40 A. This single adjustment window determines whether the device matches the connected motor's full-load current. If the motor draws less than 30 A or more than 40 A, a different relay must be chosen.
The built-in 1NO/1NC auxiliary contact block lets the relay signal a trip event to a PLC or indicator light without extra wiring. Screw clamp terminals accept solid or stranded conductors for secure connections up to 1000 V AC. Manual reset requires local intervention after a fault clears.

The relay trips when motor current exceeds the dial setting between 30 and 40 amperes, protecting the windings from sustained overload.
The relay is rated for circuits up to 1000 volts AC and accepts wire sizes suited to screw-clamp terminals on three poles.
The unit clips straight onto a compatible TeSys Deca contactor, so no separate DIN-rail space or bracket is needed.
