Protects 3-pole contactors with a 48–65 A thermal overload range, 10 A trip class and screw-clamp terminals
The Schneider Electric LRD3359 is a thermal overload relay designed for motor protection in industrial control panels. It provides adjustable current monitoring between 48 A and 65 A with a 1NO/1NC auxiliary contact for signalling or interlocking. The unit mounts directly onto compatible TeSys Deca contactors using screw clamp terminals.
This relay operates at Trip Class 10A, meaning it will trip within a defined time under overload conditions at 1000 V AC maximum. The three-pole design protects all phases simultaneously. The fixed trip class and current range set the protection boundaries; it cannot be reconfigured for faster or slower response times or for voltages above the rated maximum.
Installation is completed by mounting the relay directly onto a matching TeSys Deca contactor and tightening the screw clamp terminals. The manual reset button must be pressed after a trip event before the motor can restart. Misalignment during mounting or loose terminal screws are the most common issues that prevent proper operation.

Select the setting that matches the motor full-load current; the relay adjusts continuously from 48 A to 65 A.
Trip Class 10A indicates the relay trips within the standard Class 10 time-current curve at the set current.
The 1000 V AC maximum voltage rating defines the highest system voltage the relay can safely protect.
