Two-hole 22 mm pushbutton enclosure

The Schneider Electric XALD02H7 is a polycarbonate enclosure designed for industrial control panels. It accepts two 22 mm operators such as pushbuttons or pilot lights and meets NEMA 1, 12, 13 and 4X ratings for indoor and wash-down environments.

Thermals noise and power draw

As a passive plastic housing the unit generates no heat, emits no noise and draws no electrical power. The polycarbonate body resists corrosion and impact while the 1/2 inch conduit entry simplifies cable routing in normal industrial use.

Two 22 mm operator cut-outs

The enclosure provides exactly two 22 mm holes in a single column for ZB5A series operators. Buyers who need more than two control stations or a different hole pattern should select a larger enclosure.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the XALD02H7 enclosure and what is the most common wiring mistake?

Mount the polycarbonate body using the integrated lugs, then feed cables through the 1/2 in conduit entry; the frequent error is skipping the supplied gasket, which breaks the NEMA 4X seal.

Which parts will need replacement after extended service?

The 22 mm ZB5A operators and pilot-light heads are the wear items; the enclosure itself is static polycarbonate and does not degrade under normal conditions.

What environmental limit is reached first during continuous outdoor exposure?

The NEMA 4X rating covers hose-directed water and corrosion; prolonged UV can eventually yellow the gray polycarbonate, so that cosmetic change appears before any ingress failure.
