22 mm Red Mushroom Head Push Button
This Schneider Electric ZB5AC4 operator provides a 22 mm red mushroom head for momentary actuation in industrial control panels. It is intended for operators who need a clearly visible emergency or stop function on machinery and automation equipment.
NEMA 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X, 13 and IP66 enclosure ratings
The plastic head and bezel meet these ingress protection standards, limiting use to environments where the specified dust and water resistance levels are sufficient. The device complies with IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60947-5-4, UL 508, CSA C22.2 No. 14 and other listed standards for control circuit devices.
Plastic construction with 40 mm mushroom head
The all-plastic operator body, head and bezel resist corrosion and reduce weight on the panel. A 40 mm diameter mushroom head gives a large target for gloved hands, while the 22 mm mounting size fits standard cut-outs without additional adapters.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 22 mm or 40 mm mushroom head?
The 22 mm is the panel cut-out size; the 40 mm is the red mushroom head diameter. Both belong to the same ZB5AC4 operator, so you do not choose between them.
What does the IP66 rating mean once the button is mounted?
IP66 means the installed operator resists powerful water jets and is dust-tight when the panel seal is intact.
Which NEMA ratings apply and what do they limit?
NEMA 1, 2, 3, 4, 4X and 13 cover indoor dust, outdoor rain, hose-directed water, corrosion and oil/coolant splash.
