16 mm Selector Switch

This 16 mm selector switch from Schneider Electric provides a two-position maintained action for industrial control panels. The short black lever operator and black plastic bezel suit compact installations where a clear manual interface is required.

NEMA 13, 4, 4X and IP65 Rating

The switch housing meets NEMA 13, 4 and 4X as well as IP65, so it resists oil, coolant, splashing water and dust in typical factory environments. It is not rated for prolonged submersion or high-pressure wash-down beyond the IP65 test conditions.

Standards Compliance

The device complies with CSA C22.2 No. 14, UL 508 and the EN/IEC 60947 series including parts 1, 5-1 and 5-5, plus JIS C8201-1, C8201-5-1 and C852. No cam is included, so a separate cam kit must be sourced for applications that require one.

Questions about this item

Will the 16 mm Schneider Electric ZB6CD22 fit the same panel cut-out as my existing 16 mm push-buttons?

Yes, the 16 mm mounting diameter matches standard 16 mm panel cut-outs, so it aligns with other 16 mm operators you already have.

How can I confirm the selector maintains each position after wiring?

Turn the black lever to each of the two positions; it should stay in place without spring return, giving a clear mechanical detent at both stops.

Does the box include a contact block or cam, or must I order them separately?

The switch ships with the operator head and bezel only; no cam or contact block is included, so you will need to purchase those separately.
