Versatile 6V/12V Battery Charger

The Schumacher SC1281 charges standard, AGM, gel and deep-cycle batteries in 6V and 12V systems. It suits owners of cars, SUVs, trucks and marine equipment who need one device for routine charging and emergency starting. Microprocessor control handles multi-stage charging and automatic voltage detection without user intervention.

30A Boost and 100A Jump-Start Capacity

A 30 amp quick-boost mode recharges depleted batteries while the 100 amp jump-start delivers enough cranking power for large engines. The maintainer function holds voltage indefinitely once full charge is reached, preventing overcharge during long-term storage. It is not intended for continuous high-draw shop loads beyond the rated outputs.

Integrated Battery and Alternator Tester

Built-in diagnostics display charge level and help identify electrical-system faults before you connect the clamps. Reverse hook-up protection stops the unit from operating if polarity is wrong, protecting both the charger and the battery. This tester is the feature that confirms whether the SC1281 matches your diagnostic needs.
