The Scosche BT-28 is a 2-in-1 Bluetooth 6.0 transmitter and receiver that adds wireless streaming to equipment lacking built-in Bluetooth. In transmitter mode it connects to televisions, computers or in-flight entertainment systems via a 3.5 mm AUX or RCA jack and pairs with Bluetooth headphones or speakers. In receiver mode it pairs with a smartphone or tablet and feeds audio to older car stereos, home amplifiers or wired speakers. The compact ABS housing weighs 22 grams and measures 2.24 by 1.26 by .31 inches.

Battery Life and Low-Latency Streaming

A built-in battery delivers up to 24 hours of playback in transmitter mode and up to 25 hours in receiver mode. Bluetooth 6.0 provides low-latency transmission suitable for video and gaming, while noise-cancellation circuitry reduces background interference during calls and music playback. An LED display shows pairing status and a three-segment battery indicator where each segment represents 33 percent of remaining charge. The unit operates on a 5-volt supply and reconnects automatically to previously paired devices.

Hands-Free Calls and Dual Pairing

A built-in microphone enables hands-free phone calls in both transmitter and receiver modes. Dual pairing allows two Bluetooth headphones to listen simultaneously in transmitter mode or two smartphones to stay connected in receiver mode for quick switching.
