Interior cleaning gel kit

Scosche supplies a reusable putty that presses into vents, cup holders and tight dashboard crevices to lift dust and debris. The 16.8oz blue compound is also effective on keyboards, desk drawers and small household appliances. Users mould the gel, press it two or three times on a surface, then lift to capture particles. Folding exposes a clean side for continued use until the material darkens or softens.

Thermals noise and power draw

The product is a passive cleaning compound with no moving parts, electrical connection or power requirement. It generates no heat, emits no sound and draws zero watts during use. Storage at normal indoor temperatures keeps the gel pliable for repeated sessions. No thermal management or power supply is involved.

Bundled accessories and software

The kit consists solely of the gel in a cannister; no additional tools, applicators or software are included. The cannister provides a sealed container that preserves the putty between uses. Instructions are limited to the mould-press-lift-fold method described on the packaging. No digital downloads or companion apps accompany the product.

Questions about this item

How do I apply the 16.8oz gel to air vents and cup holders?

Take out the gel, mould it to the shape of the vent or cup holder, press it onto the surface two or three times, then lift to pull away dust. Fold the gel to expose a clean side and repeat until the area is clear.

When does the reusable putty need to be replaced?

Stop using the gel once its colour darkens noticeably or the texture becomes too soft to hold its shape. At that point it can no longer trap dirt effectively and should be discarded.

What weight limit applies if I press the gel onto a vertical dashboard panel?

The gel weighs .41 pounds and relies on its own tackiness; it will not support additional load. Press gently — excessive force will cause it to sag or tear rather than adhere.
