The Scosche JS57 adds wireless streaming to vintage home stereos, amplifiers and wired speakers through RCA, 3.5 mm auxiliary and optical outputs. It receives audio from phones, tablets or laptops using Bluetooth 5.3 and supports SBC decoding with HSP, HFP, A2DP and AVRCP profiles. The compact ABS housing weighs 115 grams and measures small enough to sit discreetly beside existing equipment.

Check Power and Input Requirements First

The unit requires a 5 V power source and has no internal battery, so a USB supply or mains adapter must be available at the installation spot. Verify that your target system offers an RCA, 3.5 mm or optical input; the receiver cannot add Bluetooth to a source-only device such as a CD player. Wireless range extends to 10 metres or 30 feet with a clear line of sight.

Compact Build with Front-Panel Controls

A rotary knob on the top surface handles volume and play/pause duties, while a dedicated 3D audio button toggles between bass-focused and treble-focused sound profiles. All three output ports sit on the rear alongside the power input, keeping cable runs tidy. The lightweight chassis uses ABS plastic and includes no mounting hardware, so placement is simply a matter of setting it on a shelf or taping it in place.
