Seagate Cheetah 15K.7 ST3450857SS 450GB 15000RPM SAS 16MB 3.5in internal hard drive

SKU CH-1WJG-FQVT1

A lot of ten 3.5in SAS drives spinning at 15000RPM with 450GB capacity and 16MB cache

  • 15000 RPM spindle speed for fast data access
  • 6 Gb/s SAS interface for high-throughput connectivity
  • 450 GB capacity in a 3.5-inch form factor
  • 16 MB cache buffer to smooth burst workloads
  • Background Media Scan and PowerTrim technology protect data integrity and manage power

450 GB 15 000 RPM SAS enterprise drive

This 3.5 inch internal hard drive spins at 15 000 RPM and connects through a SAS 6 Gb/s interface with a 16 MB buffer. It is built for servers and storage arrays that demand sustained throughput and low latency. The lot contains ten bare drives in new condition.

Suits multi-drive RAID or tiered storage deployments

The ten-drive pack and SAS interface make this a natural fit for administrators populating a JBOD, a RAID enclosure or a high-transaction database volume. Buyers who need a single desktop boot drive or a consumer-grade interface should look at something else.

SAS 6 Gb/s interface

The drive communicates over SAS at 6 Gb/s, so the host controller or backplane must provide a matching SAS port. Without that specific connection the drive cannot be used.
