Enterprise storage drive

The Seagate Constellation ES is a 2TB desktop internal hard drive built for enterprise workloads. It spins at 7200RPM with a 16MB cache and connects through a SAS 6Gb/s interface. The 3.5-inch form factor fits standard server and workstation bays.

Suited for SAS arrays, not standalone PCs

This drive serves administrators expanding capacity in SAS-based RAID arrays or storage appliances that demand 7200RPM throughput. Builders without a SAS host adapter or compatible backplane should look elsewhere, as the drive requires a SAS connection to operate.

The drive ships in retail or OEM packing that may vary; mounting hardware and SAS data cables are not included and must be purchased separately.
