Constellation ES.2 2 TB SATA hard drive

The Seagate Constellation ES.2 ST32000645NS is a 3.5-inch hard drive with 2 TB capacity, 7200 RPM spindle speed and 64 MB cache. It connects through a standard SATA interface and is built for continuous operation in storage arrays or servers. The drive arrives in new condition as an OEM unit without retail packaging.

Suits RAID and NAS builds; not for portable use

This drive fits desktop chassis, NAS enclosures and direct-attached storage appliances that accept 3.5-inch SATA drives. It is not designed for laptop bays, external USB enclosures or any scenario requiring a 2.5-inch form factor or bus-powered operation. Buyers needing a smaller physical size or lower power draw should consider a different form factor.

3.5-inch SATA form factor decides fit

The single specification that determines compatibility is the 3.5-inch SATA form factor. Your system must provide a standard 3.5-inch drive bay with both a SATA data connector and a SATA power connector. If the chassis only accommodates 2.5-inch drives or lacks SATA ports, this drive will not install.
