Magnetic Daisy-Chain 120mm Fan Kit

The Seasonic MagFlow 1-Fan Kit is a 120mm case fan with a 27mm thickness designed for high-performance cooling. Its Fluid Dynamic Bearing supports speeds from 600 to 2000 RPM, delivering up to 63.33 CFM of airflow while operating between 9.9 and 33.78 dBA. The non-LED black frame uses magnetic interlocking to eliminate wiring between fans. Builders who prefer a clean, modular installation will value the snap-together design.

Suits radiator stacks and cable-free builds

This single fan kit suits liquid-cooling radiators where the four-screw mounting method reduces alignment time. The magnetic daisy-chain system benefits users adding multiple units by removing cable clutter between frames. Buyers who want addressable RGB lighting should look elsewhere. Those needing standard 25mm thickness for tight clearances cannot use this 27mm model. Non-PWM controllers cannot regulate the fan speed range.

27mm thickness decides radiator fit

The 27mm frame depth is the critical measurement for compatibility with radiator screw holes and case clearance. Verify that your radiator and chassis accept this thickness before purchase. The magnetic interlock adds no extra height beyond the stated dimension. If your mounting hardware requires a thinner profile, this kit will not install correctly.

Questions about this item

How do the magnetic connectors align when daisy-chaining the 120mm MagFlow fan to a radiator?

The interlocking magnets snap the fan frames together and to the radiator so only four screws are needed; the step often missed is seating each magnet fully before tightening the screws.

When will the fluid dynamic bearing in the 27mm thick fan need replacement?

Fluid dynamic bearings are sealed for the fan's service life; no user replacement interval is defined, so the bearing runs until the fan is retired.

At what noise level does the 63.33 CFM maximum airflow occur?

The 63.33 CFM peak is reached at 2000 RPM, where the noise level is 33.78 dBA.
