17" Large Storage Pocket

The SEAT SACK 10117 is a chair-mounted organiser made from flame-retardant cotton-poly laminated fabric. It slides onto the back of a standard classroom chair and stays in place when chairs are stacked. The pocket measures 10 inches deep with a 2 inch gusset to hold books, papers and school supplies. Machine washable on a warm gentle cycle and tumble dryable for easy care.

For Classroom Organisation

Teachers managing grades 3 through 6 gain personal storage at every seat without permanent installation. The red fabric aids quick visual identification in busy rooms. Buyers needing waterproof outdoor gear storage or heavy-tool capacity should look elsewhere, as the fabric is designed for indoor paper and supply organisation only.

Simple Slide-On Fitting

Installation requires no tools — simply slip the pocket over the chair back and adjust the fit. The design allows chairs to stack without removing the sack. The main issue arises if the chair back exceeds the pocket width or has an unusual contour that prevents a secure grip, causing the sack to shift during use.

Questions about this item

What size chair back does the 17-inch pocket fit?

The pocket is designed to slide onto standard classroom chair backs; the 17-inch width matches typical student chairs for grades 3 through 6.

Will the 2-inch gusset still allow chairs to stack?

Yes, the supplier notes that chairs stack easily without removing the sack, so the gusset does not prevent stacking.

How can I confirm the flame-retardant fabric is intact after washing?

Machine wash on a warm gentle cycle and tumble dry; the fabric retains its flame-retardant property through normal laundering.
