LoRaWAN Indoor Gateway
The Seeed Studio SenseCAP gateway is a new indoor LoRaWAN gateway that combines a Semtech SX1302 concentrator with 4G backhaul for the US915 frequency plan. It targets developers, system integrators and businesses deploying private or public LoRaWAN networks inside buildings or campus environments.
Upgrade from single-channel forwarders
The device replaces basic single-channel packet forwarders or USB concentrators by providing an eight-channel SX1302 radio with a built-in ChirpStack network server and local web console. The jump is worthwhile when you need multi-channel capacity, redundant 4G connectivity and Power-over-Ethernet deployment without a separate power supply.
Suits indoor LoRaWAN projects needing 4G and PoE
It fits teams that want a ready-to-configure indoor gateway supporting AWS, TTN and ChirpStack via Packet Forwarder or Basics Station mode. Buyers who require outdoor-rated enclosures, a different regional frequency plan or a gateway without cellular backhaul should look at other models.
