Game concept and target player

Typing of the Dead: Overkill blends the House of the Dead horror arcade legacy with typing-based combat. Players eliminate mutant hordes by spelling words quickly and accurately instead of aiming a reticle. The 17+ ESRB rating reflects strong gore and language. A Steam account and Windows 7 or 8 are required to activate and play the downloadable code.

Region and hardware suitability

The download is blocked in numerous countries including CN, JP, KR, RU and others listed in the specifications; buyers in those regions cannot activate the key. Systems need a 2.0 GHz dual-core CPU, 2 GB RAM, 10 GB storage and a GPU compatible with DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.1 such as Radeon HD 6450, GeForce GT 220 or Intel HD 3000 with 512 MB VRAM. Players without a Steam account or on unsupported operating systems should look elsewhere.

Activation platform decides compatibility

The product key redeems exclusively on Steam, so a valid Steam account and internet connection are mandatory before purchase. No physical media or alternative DRM option is provided.
