Sega Typing Bundle

The Typing of the Dead: Overkill Collection delivers two action titles in a single Steam code for Windows 7 or 8. Players type words on screen to defeat enemies, turning keyboard skill into the core combat mechanic. The download requires 10 GB of drive space and a 2 Mbps connection. Activation is restricted in numerous listed countries.

Steam DRM and Regional Blocks

The bundle uses Steam DRM, so the code binds to a Steam account and the client must be online for the first launch. The blocked region list covers over thirty territories including CN, JP, KR, RU and many others; buyers in those locations cannot redeem or play the product. No additional launchers or third-party accounts are required beyond Steam itself.

Suited for Typing Action Fans

This package suits players who want a light-hearted arcade shooter controlled entirely by typing and who meet the modest DirectX 10.1 hardware baseline. It does not suit buyers in blocked regions, users on operating systems newer than Windows 8 without confirmed compatibility, or anyone seeking a traditional controller or mouse-driven shooter experience.

Questions about this item

Will the Steam activation for model 36121 need any future renewal or replacement?

The Steam code is a one-time activation that permanently attaches the bundle to your Steam account; no further codes or renewals are required.

What is the first hardware limit reached when playing the bundle for long sessions?

The 2 GB system RAM and 512 MB VRAM minimums are the tightest constraints; sustained play will hit memory capacity before CPU or GPU throughput.

How much heat and power does the downloadable bundle itself add during all-day use?

The downloadable code produces no heat or power draw; only the host PC components consume power while the games run.
